Ok, I've just changed my mind -- progress is not always good... Introducing the Finger phone.

This morning I had a witty and insightful revelation about the world... of course I have completely forgot what that was now, but trust me -- it was insightful. So, in lieu of any deeper meaning of life, I will supply my trusting fan a soup recipe

With the help of Public Radio Exchange I might be able to get my very own souper-hero spot... Now all I need is a non-sucky idea and a way to product it -- NPR here I come!
I would like to openly thank everyone involved in yesterday's suprise National Selecto Day. I am continually thankful for the kindness and joy you have all brought to my life. Good luck to all the graduating, and non-graduating souper-hero with whatever exciting places your lives will take you. I know you will all go on to great things.

what are the odd that I randomly go to one of those random cool site website and the random cool site of the day is randomly about hooker motels around chicago -- pretty random, I'd say. I wonder if that mean I should get a hooker, or buy a hotel... oh well, back to surfing.

oh no! oh no! I am so conficted -- McDonald's is moving to Linux! Is this good news or bad? Ok, well I guess it is good because it involves Linux, but I wouldn't be happy about news that someone was crushed under a pile of RedHat CDs -- I might still be conficted :)

In case it wasn't clear why I like Linux, above all else, it is the attitude. This is summarized by the recent rebutal by Andy Tanenbaum to claims by Ken Brown that Linus stole Linux from MINIX. Linus statements only reenforce this attitude, "Ok, I admit it. I was just a front-man for the real fathers of Linux, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus." Classic Linus -- if anyone is a real souper-hero, it is him.

Well, I feel like I have move up on the ad chain... no more toliet ads for me! It is all ducky all the time
Here is an interesting concept -- Giftfile Project. From what I gather, it is a non-profit org which is tring to setup a gift economy system for non-proprietary digital work. As the work is entered into the public domain, money paid to the system is a charitable donation and can be distributed however the person wishes (ie. divide $10 among all giftfile music tracks I've listened to in the past month). Cool.

Check it out, $0.41 per gallon for DIY biodiesel. Now if only I had one of those fancy TDI Jettas and access to a nearly infinate supply of vegetable oil for a souper-hero family resturant -- oh wait..

The bug has hit this souper-hero again. I'm back on the weblog wagon. No claims as to how long, but I can say with certainy that I am posting now :) And just so this posting isn't completely self congratulatory and with no value to the loyal reader, my observation for the day is that if you get a chance, I recommend everyone rule a small island nation at some point. I won't even pressure you into appointing me entertainment minister -- ok, I will.
